The Louvre Museum in the UAE is a wonderful cultural example of coming together in an unprecedented partnership between France and the United Arab Emirates. The Louvre UAE is an art and civilisation museum on the Saadiyat Island Cultural District and occupies a space of of approximately 24000 metres square making it the largest museum on the Arabian peninsula.

The project with its origins in 2007 brings together the French expertise in areas of art and the UAEs bold and progressive views on openess to lay the foundations of a connected humanity.  The culmination is the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the contemporary Arabesque architechture takes your breath away with its woven basket styles and light airy spaces.
