Dubai and the UAE in general tend to have a market more for Motor Yacht Charter on the high end with sailing boats for charter being far lower in terms of options. Sailing Yachts are available however and growing in popularity, sailing aficionados can enjoy the Dubai to Muscat regatta for example.
The region is suitable for term charters and so of course there are options to hire a boat for multiple days or weeks.
Having chosen Dubai or Abu Dhabi ( the most popular spots in the UAE to begin your nautical adventures) you will likely be aware of the stable climate and the benefits of the region for yachting with mild currents and tides and generally calm winds leave a long season for you to plan which boat is right for you.
The UAE has a stable climate and is very suited to yacht charters with seasonal temperatures averaging 36 degrees in summer months with highs in the forties and a lovely mild winter temperatures in the twenties.
June July and August are incredibly hot and night time temperatures rarely drop below 30 degrees so it can be tough for those sensitive to extreme heat. In summer we also have occasional Shamals which are north western winds from Iraq and Iran that can be treacherous. From September through to May choose your month, all are great and have different advantages. December temperatures rarely exceed 26 degrees and these months are more suited to avoid the crowds. November - March is often seen as the best time to visit.
Budget is important when choosing the right boat to charter in any location and the UAE is no exception. Some yachts have large capacities for passengers on day charter options but bear in mind that the capacity drops significantly for term charters due to sleeping quarters and such. generally capacities quoted here are based on day charters.

Food allergies intolerances are again crucial for us to be aware of in the planning stages.
